Ian Macintosh ‘Mack’
It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce that Ian ‘Mack’ Macintosh died on Thursday 13th September 2018, at Princess Alexandra Hospital Brisbane, after a short illness.
Our Boyne River pirate and VMR skipper, formerly of Cheviot N.Z. was the Beloved Husband and Soulmate of Edwina Harding. Cherished Father and Father-in-Law of Kim and Blair, Lee and Garry, Hellie, Hamish and Kirsty. Loving Step-father of Te Huia and Adored Brother of Janice and the late Bruce. Mack was the wonderful pirate Pumpa of Hunter, Bena, Reuben, Tia, Jacob, Cody, Shaunessy, Izaac, Zac, Rebecca and Rachel, and six gorgeous Great Grandchildren.
Mack will also be sorely missed by Pipi, his good friends and his extended family on both sides of the Tasman and in the U.K.
We will farewell Mack at the Boyne Tannum Memorial Parklands Crematorium, Pioneer Drive Boyne Island, on Thursday 20th September 2018, commencing at 2.00 pm. All Welcome.
A huge thank you for the loving care provided to Mack and Edwina by the teams on Wards 4C and 4D at Princess Alexandra Hospital. The Palliative Care team at Gladstone Hospital and the Tannum Family Practice and the Boyne Pharmacy.
In lieu of flowers, we will be collecting donations for the Pancare Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the service.
